Palestinian Activist Leqaa Kordia Freed from ICE Detention

Leqaa Kordia, a 33-year-old Palestinian activist from the occupied West Bank, was released from an ICE detention facility in Texas after spending a year in U.S. immigration custody. Kordia had been detained in connection with protests at Columbia University and was the last person linked to those anti-genocide demonstrations to remain in U.S. immigration detention.
